Tottenham Sacked Manager Nuno Espirito Santo After a 3-0 Home Loss to Manchester United

Spurs failed to have a shot on goal against Manchester United on Saturday, making it more than 130 minutes since their loss to West Ham the following day.

they have already lost seven games in all competitions this season, leaving them with 15 points from 10 Premier League games.

Nuno took over after Spurs failed to sign Antonio Conte, Paulo Fonseca, and Julen Lopetegui.

In a brief statement on the club’s website, Managing Director of football Fabio Paratici said: ‘I know how much Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to succeed and I regret that we have had to take this decision.

‘Nuno is a true gentleman and will always be welcome here. We should like to thank him and his coaching staff and wish them well for the future.’

“I regret that we have had to take this decision,” Fabio Paratici added

“I know how much Nuno and his coaching staff wanted to succeed.”

Antonio Conte is the overwhelming favorite to take over in north London, however, the Italian is notorious for being reluctant to take on a new role in the middle of a season, and Levy will have to persuade him to do so.
