
Nigerian Sprinter Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha Provisionally Suspended for Doping
The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) said on Saturday that Nigerian sprinter Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha, who won gold in the 4x100m relay at this year’s Commonwealth Games, has been temporarily suspended for the usage of prohibited drugs.
The 21-year-old Nwokocha raced the anchor leg in Birmingham, England, last month as Nigeria defeated England and Jamaica to win gold.
The AIU has provisionally suspended Nigerian runner, Nzubechi Grace Nwokocha, for the Presence/Use of Prohibited Substances (Ostarine & Ligandrol) (Article 2.1 and Article 2.2)

Both Ostarine and Ligandrol are forbidden by the World Anti-Doping Agency as anabolic agents (WADA).
A provisional suspension prohibits an athlete from competing temporarily until the conclusion of a hearing conducted in accordance with WADA regulations.
