Michael Keaton's Batman battles the multiverse in the 'The Flash' trailer

On Tuesday, DC Studios released another trailer for “The Flash,” starring Ezra Miller, ahead of its CinemaCon debut.

“The Flash” will unite many versions of renowned superheroes to unlock the DC cosmos. The initial teaser showed two Millers playing Barry Allen, nicknamed the Scarlet Speedster, in various universes. Barry journeys to another reality to avert his mother’s murder in the film.

He becomes stranded in a superhero-free world. The main timeline’s Barry must link up with another Barry and the super-strong Kryptonian hero Supergirl (Sasha Calle) to fight General Zod (Michael Shannon, returning from 2013’s “Man of Steel”).

“The Flash” also has two Batmen. In the film, Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck play Batman. Affleck’s Batman and Miller’s Flash met in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and appeared in the first “Suicide Squad.” “The Flash” will be their first significant comeback and maybe their last as newly hired DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran lay out their revamped DC world.

Ron Livingston and Maribel Verdú play Barry’s parents, Kiersey Clemons plays Barry’s love interest Iris West, and Temuera Morrison returns as Thomas Curry, Aquaman’s father. Andy Muschietti directs.

“The Flash” opens June 16
