Max Verstappen wins Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after late overtake on Charles Leclerc

It was a long fight between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, but Verstappen came out on top. It was his first victory of the season.

The Red Bull driver passed the Ferrari with four laps to go after the two had a tense race together.

The fight was sometimes funny because the two cars slowed down almost to a standstill in order to work the DRS overtaking zones in their favour.

He was still ahead by 0.5 seconds after making the big move.

In third and fourth place, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez took third and fourth.

After Esteban Ocon and Lando Norris from Alpine and McLaren, Mercedes driver George Russell came in fifth place in the race.

Lewis Hamilton came from 15th place to finish 10th.

In the end, it was a good weekend for F1 because of the excitement, but the drivers and other senior people who were scared by the missile strike on a nearby oil depot on Friday aren’t going to let the sport’s bosses forget what has been an unpleasant three days.
