Manchester United's Glazer family has listed another 9.5 million shares for sale

Manchester United’s owners have put up over 9.5 million shares for sale, worth $186.86 million (£137.12 million).

On Tuesday night, United informed the New York stock exchange of the sale in the names of club directors Kevin Glazer and Edward Glazer.

The sale represents 8% of the family’s total combined ownership, but they will still own 69 percent of United, according to sources, and they remain committed to the club.

Given the large number of shares being sold, it is almost certain that the price will be lower than the stock market value.
