Debutants The Gambia qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals with a 1-0 victory over Guinea thanks to Musa Barrow’s goal.
In the 71st minute, Barrow gathered a pass and tapped past Aly Keita.
Ibrahima Conte’s equalizer was ruled out for offside, and Yusupha Njie of The Gambia was sent off.
Guinea struck the post in injury time before Baboucarr Gaye tipped another shot into the crossbar.

Gaye produced a fantastic stop to deny Jose Kante’s thunderous shot, which came moments after Conte rattled the left-hand upright from a restricted angle.
Even then, Guinea attacker Morgan Guilavogui latched onto the rebound off the bar and was denied by Pa Modou Jagne’s follow-up attempt.
Kante then headed home the subsequent corner, and the Scorpions, who were placed 150th and lowest in the tournament, went on to win when Guinea center-back Conte was also dismissed in injury time for a second booking.
The Gambia will now face either Cameroon or Comoros on Saturday’s last eight.
