It looks like Chelsea will be playing in the Carabao Cup final after they beat Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
Chelsea cruised into the Carabao Cup final after defeating Tottenham in the semi-finals.
During the first leg, Chelsea won 2-0, and Kai Havertz and Ben Davies both scored own goals. The Blues had a two-goal advantage over Spurs going into the second leg.
Thomas Tuchel’s team then won 1-0 on Wednesday night. Antonio Rudiger, a German defender, scored the only goal of the game by heading the ball past Pierluigi Gollini in the 14th minute.
The west Londoners have now made it to the final of the competition for the first time in a long time, since 2019.

“We started good. We had big chances and controlled the match, but I had the feeling we played with fire,” Tuchel said.
“We allowed chances from sloppy mistakes and were lucky. We almost gave a penalty away for no reason, for a bit of over-confidence.
“We needed luck to not give away another penalty, to have an offside VAR decision.”
“We need to play better if we’re going to really deserve results like this. We have to meet the standards,” Tuchel said.
